TEACHERS DAY

Introduction:-

Teachers day in India is celebrated on the 5th of September each year. Schools throughout our country are decorated and special events are organised to celebrate this event. Students as teachers participate in various events with full zeal. It is a day that offers a break from the usual school activities. So students particularly look forward to this day.

Why is the teachers day celebration on 5th September?

5th September is the birth anniversary of Dr.sarvapalli radhakrishnan was the first vice president of India. They served the nation from 1952 to 1962. They also served the country as its second president from 1962 to 1967.  
Dr. Radhakrishna held great regards from the teachers. Before entering politics,the thought at different universities including the university of Calcutta, University of my store and university of Oxford. Hw was appreciated for his work and was immensely loved by his students. He believed that it is the teachers who shape the youth who in turn shape the future of the nation's.

The importance of teachers day:-

Teachers day is of utmost importance it is a day to respect and value the offorts of the teachers who work tirelessly all year round. Teachers job is one of the thoughtest jobs in the world as they are given the responsibility hurture young minds. They are given a class full of students. Each students is unique and has a different calibration studentsany be good in sports others could bemaths genius while others may show keen interest in English a good teacher help the students explore their interests and identify their capabilities.

They are assigned different classes where they go and teach on this day. This is great fun for both senior wing as well as junior wing students. The senior students ensure the school discipline is maintained all through and the juniors co-operate with them in the same.

In many schools, students give dance performance,perform plays , conduct fancy dress competition,deliver speeches and indulge in many other activities the teachers watch them perform .in some schools callective activities are organised for students and teachers. This is all the more fun. They play different games and indulge in various activities togather and bound well over the same.
